The laser is used to penetrate your outer layer of the skin and coagulate the blood in the targeted vessels. This induces the vein to blanche and it is then reabsorbed into the surrounding cells.

No, the light reaches the vein without damaging your surface skin which makes this procedure completely safe. You may experience slight redness of the skin after your treatment but this will disappear in a few days.

How many laser vein removal treatments will I need?

In most cases between one and three treatments will significantly reduce the appearance of any red or blue veins up to 4mm in diameter.
